Converting the payroll journal form for a new version
Converting the payroll journal form for a new version
Description
Program functions for the creation of the payroll journal have been
enhanced considerably. The enhancements offer wide-ranging advantages.
To make use of these advantages, you must convert the old version of the payroll journal form to a new version.
Advantages:
- Until now, you were only able to print all information for the payroll
journal form in fixed positions. Now you can print wage types easily in
a window. The R/3 System thus guarantees a complete presentation of the information on the form.
- You can print wage types with (???) work centre splits and additional
information directly on to the form (for example, remuneration information, wage type texts, organizational information).
- The programs for the creation of the payroll journal now evaluate a
greater number of tables than before ( including, for example, tables
displaying attendance and absence quotas, and remuneration details).
- On the selection screen for the payroll journal, you can display and
print information on retroactive accounting according to the procedure on the selection screen for the remuneration statement.
- In Customizing you can set up the payroll journal for an alternative
currency. To do this, use the feature ACURR and the relevant conversions.
- In the payroll journal programs, the control of the totals formation
and page break functions have been enhanced. These enhancements enable you to:
- Suppress detailed information and only print the totals pages of the payroll journal.
- Set up a new page or a new page header using the sort criteria.
- Define the sequence of the sort criteria for printing.
- Specify a period other than the payroll period for the creation of the payroll journal.
