
As of Release 4.5A, you can transfer time data that has been recorded at an external system to R/3 Time Management.
You can save external time data to the Attendances (2002) or Absences (2001) infotypes in R/3 Time Management.
You can also enter a time wage type for external time data and store the record in the Employee Remuneration Information infotype (2010).
You have access to the full range of Time Management functions. You can use the external time data in quota accrual and deduction, for example.
If you want the external data records to be saved to the Attendances (2002) or Absences (2001) infotypes, they are buffered in the interface table PTEX2000.
If you want the external data records to be saved to the Employee Remuneration Information infotype (2010), they are buffered in the interface table PTEX2010.
You can only transfer external data if you have set up the ALE business process
Supply R/3 Time Management with External Time Data or
Supply R/3 Time Management with External Time Wage Types.
Data records are created in the appropriate infotypes using report RPTEXTPT (External Transfer -> Time Management).
Schedule report RPTEXTPT as a batch job to be run periodically.
