Changs to Personnel Cost Planning for 4.5A 

Description

The Personnel Cost Planning component has undergone changes in the following areas:

• Display planning

• Change planning

• New transactions

• Authorization checks

• Cost distribution (infotype 0027)

Display Planning
The display function has been enhanced and is now a separate transaction (PP25). The list display functions are still available.

Change Planning
To improve performance, it is now possible to deactivate the online calculation function when you are making changes to cost scenarios. This means, that you can now make changes in real time but the system does not display the new amounts. You can activate the calculation functions whenever you want to and the system will calculate the values either online or in the background.

Authorization Checks
The authorization check for the authorization object P_TCODE has been enhanced. You therefore need to check the authorizations for the following transactions:

• Create a scenario : PP28, PP2B, PP2P (same)

• Change a scenario : PP29 (used to be PP26)

• Display a scenario : PP25 (new)

• Delete a scenario : PP29 (new)

• Release a scenario : PP27 (same)

• Administer a scenario : PP26 (same)

Cost Distribution (Infotype 0027)
The Cost Planning component now evaluates the information stored in an employee's Cost Distribution infotype record (0027).
