Description
Report shipping has been enhanced and revised.
New check functions and revisions for subsequent shipping
For the jurisdiction USA, a check function has been set up for
distributing substance reports. Subsequent shipping has been adapted to suit the jurisdiction European Community.
For further information on report checks and subsequent shipping, see the documentation for the R/3 component Product Safety
in the section Report Shipping under Checking the Report Shipping Order and Subsequent Shipping.
MSDS requirement as an exclusion indicator
The characteristic MSDS requirement has been converted to an exclusion indicator:
- If you have not assigned values to the characteristic, report shipping is carried out.
- If you have assigned values to the characteristic, shipping is not
necessary. The following additional conditions must be fulfilled to terminate report shipping:
- The ship-to party country must be in the validity area specified in the
usage for the values assigned to the characteristic MSDS requirement.
- The rating for the values assigned to the characteristic MSDS requirement
must correspond to the rating you specified for the environment parameter SRE_DS_CHECK_VALID. If the characteristic value
rating is not the same as the environment parameter value, the
characteristic value is not valid, and report shipping is carried out.
Example: The rating CUSTOMER was maintained for the environment parameter. The characteristic
MSDS requirement was maintained as not required, and the rating also set to
CUSTOMER. European Community was entered as the validity
area for the characteristic value. In this case, report shipping is not
carried out if the ship-to party country is Germany, for example.
However, if the ship-to party country is the USA, the characteristic value is invalid, and report shipping is carried out.
Setting up report shipping from sales documents
Report shipping can now be triggered from orders in the R/3 component Sales and Distribution
. In the standard system, shipping is never started from sales documents. It is always triggered after the
delivery has been posted. When shipping is triggered in sales documents, the R/3 System merely checks if a corresponding report can
be selected. If there is no report that satisfies the check criteria
language, substance and substance report generation variant, the R/3
System generates a report request. In the IMG activity 'Develop
enhancement to check MSDS shipping', you can make make settings so that
a report shipping order is created in the order itself for the report shipping that follows.
The following changes have been made:
- The reason types DELIVERY (shipping from deliveries) and ORDER
(shipping from orders) have been allocated to the the shipping reason SD_CALL (report shipping order - generation from Sales and
Distribution) for this purpose.
- The fields in the tables VBAK and VBAP have been set up as further key dates for shipping.
- Settings have been made so that when shipping is triggered, the fields
for the structure RCGSDDOC are filled with values, and transferred from the R/3 component Sales and Distribution
to the R/3 component Product Safety in addition to the field values for the structure
RCGUSDATA. The field values for tables LIKP and LIKS are no longer transferred.
If you choose Goto -> Parameter values in the report shipping
order hit list, the field values for the structure RCGSDDOC (and RCGCUSDATA) are displayed. If the R/3 System cannot determine any
values, the default parameter values that you can define in the IMG activity 'Specify report symbol groups' are output.
- The IMG activities for the interface to the R/3 component Sales and Distribution have been set up.
- To trigger report shipping from the delivery, the processing program has been changed (old: WSSDB002, new: RC1SDDIS).
