Production Version Selection: New Functions in Release 4.5A 

Description

As of Release 4.5A, the following options are available for selecting a production version during process order creation:

• Automatic/manual selection

In Customizing, you can specify whether production versions are selected automatically or manually.

• Selection based on quota arrangements

You can maintain a quota arrangement to control which production version is used with which priority, how often it is used or until which quantity produced.

Change system parameters in customizing

In the order-type dependent parameters , you specify whether the production version is selected automatically or manually.

If you want to use production version selection according to quota arrangements, you define a corresponding number range and the quota arrangement usage.
