In Release 4.5A the MRP area has been introduced in material requirements planning.
The MRP area is an organizational unit, for which you can plan material requirements independently. The results of planning runs are displayed separately for each MRP area.
Issue elements and receipt elements for a material (production order, independent requirements, dependent requirements, reservations) are assigned in the planning run with the help of storage location determination.
