Traveler

Technical name: SAP_FI_TV_TRAVELER

Tasks

The traveler organizes his business trips himself and enters the relevant data in the system. He uses the Travel Management functions to carry out the following tasks:

Request trip and the necessary travel services (flights, hotels, car rental)
Request trip advance
Check travel services for availability and book online
Enter travel expenses (such as trip destinations, expenses receipts, trip segments)

Activities in Travel Management (FI-TV)

Creating travel request, including necessary travel services

Creating travel plan, determining availability of travel services and online booking

Creating travel expense report, entering trip facts and simulating settlement

Obtaining approval of travel request, travel plan and travel expense report

The traveler only has authorization to carry out the above activities for his own personnel number.

Adjustment Notes

To activate the personnel number authorization check, in the Customizing activity HR: Authorization Main Switch (transaction OOAC) for Group 'AUTSW' with the Semantic abbreviation 'PERNR', enter the value '1'.
