Maintaining/Displaying Comparative Group of Apartments 

Use

You assign the minimum number of comparative apartments as specified in Customizing for Real Estate to the comparative group; alternatively you can assign the group to the rental units participating in the rent adjustment.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the general menu, choose Accounting ® Real estate management ® Rent adjustment ® Rent calculation ® Comparative group ® Comparative group ® Maintain.
  2. Enter your selection criteria and choose Comparative group.
  3. You branch to the Maintain Comparative Group screen.
  4. Starting from this screen, assign comparative apartments to the comparative group.

    You enter external comparative apartments

    You only have to enter the company code and the number of the comparative apartment

    You enter internal comparative apartments

    Enter the company code, the business entity, and the rental unit

    You want to automatically assign internal comparative apartments to the comparative group

    Choose Assign RU

    Maintain your selection criteria and choose Execute

    The rental units that are found according to your selection criteria are automatically written to the list of the comparative group

    You want to display apartment data of a comparative apartment

    Position the cursor on the respective apartment and choose the Details function

  5. Decide how the rent adjustment based on comparative apartments should be carried out:

    Do not flag the Adjustment based on total rent field

    Carry out the adjustment using the total basic rent

    Flag the Adjustment based on total rent field

  6. Save your comparative group.
