In this section, you define time types for reporting (reporting time types) for a consolidated view of employee times from the various types of Time Management data (attendances, absences, employee remuneration information, and time evaluation results from tables ZES, ZL, C1, and ALP of cluster B2).
You can create and name reporting time types according to your requirements. You define the data view you require by assigning attendances, absences, time types, or time wage types to a reporting time type.
Reporting time types are provided in the Employee Times simulated infotype (2501). You can use the Employee Times simulated infotype (2501) in the same way as other infotypes for your own ABAP programs and SAP Query reporting, for example to compile statistics.
If attendance or absence types are entered along with the relevant personnel subarea groupings, you can use the maintenance views to assign an attendance or absence type to different reporting time types for various personnel subarea groupings. Note that you must make this assignment for all personnel subarea groupings so as not to exclude the employee data of certain personnel subareas. The same applies for time types with personnel subarea groupings and for wage types with country groupings.
Depending on the organizational assignment of the employees, you can supplement the reporting time type with other values. To do this, maintain feature GRDWT . This feature determines the rule group for defining reporting time types. In the standard system, the rule group for all employees is 01.
You want to compile overtime statistics for your salaried employees (Time management status 0) and your hourly-paid workers (Time Management status 1). The statistics take into account overtime recorded in time balances (cluster table ZES) and in the EE Remuneration Information infotype (2010).
In the standard system, the rule group for all employees is 01.
