Define Reporting Quota Types

In this section, you define quota types for reporting (reporting quota types) for a consolidated view of quota data from the various types of Time Management data (attendance quotas, absence quotas).

You can create and name reporting quota types according to your requirements. You define the data view you require by assigning attendance or absence quota types and leave types to a reporting quota type.

Reporting quota types are provided in the Quota Statuses simulated infotype (2502). You can use the Quota Statuses simulated infotype (2502) in the same way as other infotypes for your own ABAP programs and SAP Query reporting, for example to compile statistics.

If absence quota types are entered along with the relevant personnel subarea groupings, you can use the maintenance views to assign an absence quota type to different reporting quota types for various personnel subarea groupings. Note that you must make this assignment for all personnel subarea groupings so as not to exclude the employee data of certain personnel subareas. The same applies for absence quota types and leave quotas.

Depending on the organizational assignment of the employees, you can supplement the reporting quota type with other values. To do this, maintain feature GRDWK . This feature determines the rule group for defining reporting quota types. In the standard system, the rule group for all employees is 01.

Example

You want to compile statistics on your employees' leave that takes into account standard leave, educational leave, and special leave.

Activities

1. Create the reporting quota type Leave using the Define Reporting Quota Types activity.
2. In this reporting quota type, group the absence quota types Standard leave, Educational leave, and Special leave.

Standard Settings
