New Infotype for Leaving-Related Payments
Scope of Functions
Until now, you had to create wage type records for Additional Payments
infotype 0015 in order to pay out severance pay, leave compensation, or holiday pay for those employees leaving your company.
You had to apply the same procedure in order to record extra premiums.
The wage type entry is no longer required. The system now contains an
infotype that simplifies the process of recording the leaving-related
payments mentioned above. If you pay your employees a voluntary
severance pay, you can tax these dependent on the enployment period of
the employee according to § 67 (6) of the Income Tax Law [EStG]. In
addition, it is no longer necessary to change the date in the field Payroll until for infotype
Payroll Status infotype 0003 manually.
You can record the following data in Specification When Leaving A infotype 0527:
- Amount of the legal and voluntary severance pay
- Amount of the pension severance pay
- Amount of the calculation base for leave compensation and holiday pay
- Amount of calculation base for extra premiums
The system accounts for data stored in the infotype for the employee's
final payroll run. The individual payments are automatically assigned to the particular creation dates of the wage types.

Effects on System Administration
The payroll function Read deductions when leaving Austria (P0527) was placed in the subschema
Factoring and Storage (AAL0). Adjust this subschema in your productive client to the
subschema in the standard system.
Effects on Customizing
Determine the default values for Specification When Leaving A infotype 0527 in Customizing for
Personnel Administration under Payroll Data -> Leaving-Related Payments ->
Determine Default Values for Leaving-Related Payments. The system provides
these values when you create a record for this infotype.
In addition, the infotype should be available for editing in the personnel action Leaving
. In order to include this infotype in the personnel action, perform the following steps:
1. Copy the entries for Specification When Leaving A infotype 0527 from the table Dynamic Actions
(T588Z) into your productive client.
2. Copy the entries for Specification When Leaving A infotype 0527 from the table
Infotypes CustomerSettings (T582A) into your productive client.
3. Adjust the infogroup Leaving in the table Infogroup for Actions (T588D) so that
Specification When Leaving A appears for editing in the action Leaving before
SI Notification Supplements A infotype 0367.
