SD - Displaying Archived Sales and Distribution Document Data (SAP AS)

Scope of Functions

You can use this function to display archived sales and distribution document data at any time. This function is available as from Release Release 3.0D via sapservX-Transport (see note 140652). The SAP Archiving Information System SAP AS is a prerequisite (see note 99388).

SAP AS allows you to display data from the following archived sales and distribution documents:

• Sales document

• Inbound/outbound delivery

• Billing document

In the SAP system field catalogs are made available for each archiving object. In these catalogs, fields are specified for the following sales and distribution document tables:

• Sales document

• VBAK (Sales document: Header data)

• VBAP (Sales document: Item data)

• VBKD (Sales document: Business data)

• Inbound/outbound delivery

• LIKP (Delivery: Header data)

• LIPS (Delivery: Item data)

• Billing document

• VBRK (Billing document: Header data)

• VBRP (Billing document: Item data)

You can select the fields from this field catalogue, from which you want to carry out Retrieval via SAP AS. The selected fields are put together for each archiving object in an archiving information structure. Using the information in the archiving information structure, you can look at the corresponding individual document from the archive.

The archived document display contains the following elements:

• Sales and distribution document
  

Within the individual document display for sales and distribution documents you can display the header and item data selected above, for example, customer number, material number.

• Document flow (preceding and subsequent documents)
  

Here you can move along the process chain. By clicking on the mouse, you can display the corresponding preceding or subsequent document from the selected individual document. It is irrelevant, whether the document to be displayed is still in the database or has already been archived.

• Originals (for example, printed order confirmation, that has been optically archived)
  

You can use the function Display originals to display the original document for the archived sales document via ArchiveLink. If available, this also applies to linked Workitems and IDocs.
