Processing the Worklist - Automatic Posting of Retirement Documents 
In this step you will release a worklist, so that the outflow can be posted.
1. Select Tools ® Worklist ® Edit.
2. You enter the
Edit worklist screen. Enter the following data:

3. Select Execute.
4. The
Edit worklist screen is displayed. Here you can see all information regarding this worklist. With a double-click on one of the asset lines you can branch directly to the master record of the asset or its asset values.5. Select Chg worklist header. Now you have the opportunity to make changes after creating the worklist.
6. Select Continue.
7. Select Save.
8. Select Release worklist.
9. The system displays the message Worklist XXXX was released.
10. Select Refresh several times and observe the status of the individual asset lines. You can now see that the status of the individual assets changes from ready, and in process, to finally completed.

Via Edit ® Display errors in WL you can analyze and probably change errors accordingly.
As soon as all asset lines have the status completed, the system posts the asset retirements in the background.
11. Now return to the
Asset Accounting screen, where you can display the effects of this posting.12. Select Asset ® Asset value display and on the
Display Asset Values: Initial Screen, enter the following data:

13. Select Transactions.
14. On the
Overview of Asset Accounting Documents screen, you can now see the acquisition document as well as the retirement document created by the system.You can see that the retirement value is the same as the acquisition value.
15. Select the line with the retirement document and then select FI document. Now you see the retirement document from the G/L accounting's viewpoint and you also can see the gain from the asset value created here.
16. Return to the
Overview of Asset Accounting Documents screen.17. Select Detail.
18. The
Display Asset Accounting Document screen is displayed. There you can see the document from the asset accounting viewpoint. Here as well you will recognize that the gain was posted.19. Via Environment ® Asset master you can now also branch to the master record. You can see that the asset has been deactivated.
20. Return to the main
SAP R/3 screen.End of process chain
