Setting the Basic Requirements  

To ensure a successful demonstration of this scenario, please check that your user ID is set up correctly so that you can process invoice items.

  1. Select in the SAP R/3 System screen Accounting ® Financial accounting ® Accounts payable.
  2. On the Accounts Payable screen, select Document entry ® Invoice.
  3. On the Enter Vendor Invoice: Header Data screen, select Settings ® Editing options.
  4. On the Financial Accounting Editing Options: Document Entry screen, select Open items.
  5. On the Financial Accounting Editing Options: Open Items screen, select the following line:

    Selected items initially inactive

  7. Select Enter.
  8. Return to the main SAP R/3 System screen.

The system confirms, that the new options have been activated.
