Application Status on the Internet  

  1. Open your Internet Browser (e.g. Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer).
  2. On the IDES Home Page select the English language.
  3. On the following screen, select Jobs.

    4. You reach the JOBS screen.

  4. Select Application Status.

    5. You reach the Application Status screen. You can see the Exit button and the Help button on the right side of the heading Application Status . If you select the Help button the R/3 System displays a short description about the business background of this scenario.In the central window you can see the heading Application Status as well as the two entry fields for your Application Number and your password. Please enter the application number from the scenario personnel recruitment on the Internet, e. g. 1393 and your password, e.g. 1234 and select Show.

    The window changes. It now carries the heading Application Status, contains the applicantīs name and the message: the Overall status determined by the personnel department is: In process. Below that you can find the vacancy you applied for.

  5. Select Exit, to return to the IDES Home Page .
  6. Logon to the SAP R/3 System .
  7. Select Human Resources ® Personnel Management ® Recruitment.
  8. On the Recruitment screen, select Receipt of Application

    9. You reach the Applicants by action screen.

  9. Select Execute.

    10. The R/3 System displays a selection list of all applications incoming today.

  10. Position the cursor on your application and select change ov. status.
  11. In the dialog box Change overall status select " 4" (rejected) as overall status and the status reason "01" (insufficient qualifications).
  12. Select Continue.

    13. If the R/3 System displays another dialog-box, select Cancel.

  13. Return to the SAP R/3 System screen.
  14. Switch to the IDES Home Page .
  15. Select the English language.
  16. Select Jobs.

    17. You reach the JOBS screen.

  17. Select Application Status.
  18. On the following screen, enter the application number and the personal password and then select Show.

    19. In the following screen you can now see the applicantīs name, the vacancy he is applying for as well as the status Rejected.

  19. Select Exit to return the IDES Home page .
