Personnel Cost Planning Using Payroll Results 

  1. Select Human resources ® Personnel management ® Personnel costs.
  2. In the Personnel Cost Planning screen, select Planning ® Create ® Payroll results.
  3. In the Planning Basis Payroll Results screen, enter the following data:

  5. Press Execute.
  6. If an overview screen appears showing personnel numbers for which cost data is missing, then the payroll simulation is probably missing. As a result, these personnel numbers will not be considered in the cost planning. Select Continue without correction. You branch into the Personnel Cost Planning per Organizational Unit overview screen. The lower section of the screen lists the personnel costs based on the payroll results of the persons holding the positions. You can also simulate projected payroll results (see payroll result period).

  7. If you want to view the individual cost elements for a person’s payroll results, select the person by double clicking on the person in the Cost object area.
  8. The cost elements from person’s payroll are displayed. Press Overview.
  9. The system branches into the Overview Change Cost Element per Cost Object screen.

  10. Refer to the procedures for planning using projected pay and basic pay for additional information.
  11. End the procedure and return to the main SAP R/3 screen.
