1. On the SAP R/3 screen, choose Logistics ® Logistics execution ® Inbound delivery.
2. On the Inbound Delivery screen, choose Inbound delivery ® Create.
3. On the Create Inbound Delivery screen, enter the following data:

4. Confirm your entries.

Check the different statuses of the inbound delivery.

5. Select an item of the inbound delivery and choose Item details. On the Shipping Notific. Create: Item – Detail screen, you can see the putaway status of the item.

The warehouse number assigned to this inbound delivery is the decentralized warehouse in Dallas. As this is a decentralized warehouse, the Putaway status in the central system is Not for putaway.

6. Choose Header ® Details. On the Shipping Notific. Create: Header – Details screen, you can see the distribution status of the decentralized warehouse processing. As the warehouse number for Dallas is decentralized, this inbound delivery is relevant for distribution and therefore has the status Relevant.
7. Save your entries.

When you save your entries, the inbound delivery is sent via ALE to the decentralized system. This changes the status of the inbound delivery in the central system. Check the status of the inbound delivery.

8. Note the shipping notification number.
9. On the Create Inbound Delivery screen, choose Inbound delivery ® Display, then confirm your entry.
10. On the Shipping Notific. Display: Overview screen, choose Header details to check the distribution status of the decentralized warehouse processing. The inbound delivery has now been distributed to the decentralized system and therefore has the status Distributed.
11. Return to the SAP R/3 screen.
