Creating an Outbound Delivery in a Central System 
On the
SAP R/3
screen, choose
Logistics ®
Logistics execution ®
Shipping.
On the
Shipping
screen, choose
Outbound delivery ®
Create.On the
Create Outbound Delivery
screen, enter the following data:

Confirm your entries.
Check the different statuses of the inbound delivery.
Select an item of the outbound delivery, then choose Item details. On the
Create Delivery: Item – All Data
screen, you see the picking status of the item.
The warehouse number assigned to this outbound delivery is the decentralized warehouse in Dallas. As this is a decentralized warehouse, the Picking status in the central system is Not relevant for picking.
Choose Header ®
General header data. On the
Create Delivery: Header – General Data
screen, you can see the distribution status of the decentralized warehouse processing. As the warehouse number for Dallas is decentralized, this outbound delivery is relevant for distribution and therefore has the status
Relevant.
Save your entries, then return to the
SAP R/3
screen.
When you save your entries, the inbound delivery is sent via ALE to the decentralized system. This changes the status of the outbound delivery in the central system. Check the status of the outbound delivery.
On the
Create Outbound Delivery
screen, choose Outbound delivery ®
Display, then confirm your entry.
On the
Display Delivery: Overview - Quantities
screen, choose
Header ®
General header data to check the distribution status of the decentralized warehouse processing. The outbound delivery has now been distributed to the decentralized system and therefore has the status Distributed.
Return to the
SAP R/3
screen.
