Posting the Spot Exchange Transaction 

  1. On the Foreign Exchange screen, choose Accounting ® Posting ® Execute.
  2. On the Treasury: Post Flows screen, you see the company code and the Upto and include. due date field. The system selects all flows for which the payment and delivery date are not later than the due date.

    Note that the system does not create another activity when you post the transaction. You return to the activity category Contract Settlement.

    Select Test run to initially simulate the posting. If everything is okay, you can then execute without the test run.

    However, if the posting is to be processed directly, deselect Test run.

  5. Choose Execute.
  6. The system displays two posting records with the relevant data.

  7. Return to the Treasury: Post Flows screen and deselect the flag for "Test run".
  8. Choose Execute.
  9. The postings are now executed, and the posted flows are displayed as for the test run. Double-click on the items to display the posting documents of the flows.

  10. Return to the Foreign Exchange screen, then choose Back office ® Spot/forward ® Display.
  11. Choose Enter.
  12. Choose Cash flow.
  13. On the Display Cash Flow: Basic View screen, choose View ® Posting information.
  14. The posting status of the three flows shows you that the transaction flows have been posted.

  15. Return to the Spot/Forward Transaction: Data Screen , then choose Forex transaction ® History.
  16. Choose Enter.
  17. You see all of the activity categories for the given transaction. The activity Status informs you which status is currently active. To get more information about a particular activity, simply double-click on it.

  18. Return to the SAP R/3 screen.
