Scope of Functions

Tax

    1. Customer exit for EA Form (HRMYCTEA), for the purpose of printing child information.

The number of children is printed on the EA Form. Previously,
customers can maintain both infotypes 0198 (Schedular Deduction
Tax) and 0021 (Family/Related Person) for family data for
income tax purposes. In infotype 0198 we derive the number of
dependants, and in infotype 0021 we derive the number of children
and other details like education, handicapped, marital status, etc.
Resultingly, we derive the number of dependants. However, currently
we have customers who are not maintaining infotype 0021. For these
customers, we cannot print data from infotype 0198 alone, as it
does not have the required number of children data in it. With the
customer exit for EA Form, the customer can decide what they would
like to print.

    2. Customer exit for the updating of the gross and tax amounts in Table T5LRN (HRMYCTRN), for the purpose of printing the CP159/PCB 2(II) summary reports.

After monthly CP39 is generated and submitted to the IRB (Inland
Revenue Board), table T5LRN is updated. When tax is paid, we have
to input back into the table details like receipt number and date,
and check number and date. This table is updated by a seperate
program, RPCTRNL0 (Updation of T5LRN) . The table is used to
print reports like PCB2(II) and CP159. In order to print these
reports, we need various amounts like gross earnings, gross taxable
earnings, STD tax deducted and STD tax plus CP38 deducted. These
will be picked up for pre-defined wagetypes. If a customer wishes
to pick up a different wagetype other than the SAP-defined standard
wagetypes, they will use this customer exit to write their own
routine to populate the data.

    3. CP39 formats for Sabah and Sarawak supported:
    4. Feature, LTSPT, to determine tax splits for EA Form. This feature is used to decide how the EA Form should be split:
    5. The summary report for EA forms (RPCTEAL0) now includes a sorting facility for the handling of distribution of EA by users. This sorting is based on company/personnel area/subarea/cost center/organization unit and employer tax reference number.
    6. Introduction of the umbrella reference number concept includes the following three new views to maintain table T5LTK (Employer Tax Reference Number):

The CP39 report has been modified to include this concept.

    7. Summary report for CP39.

This report will help the administrator by providing a summary at
the end of the printing cycle. It will give details like employer
reference number, total tax amount, the number of employees, etc.,
which will be used to print the check to be issued to the IRB.

SOCSO

Any person earning below RM2,000 (gross) should be a member of
SOCSO. This checklist will list out all the employees who earn
below RM2,000 and those who do not have a record in infotype 0197
(Employees' Social Security) . The data is taken from the
last payroll, and is a post-payroll report.
