Distribution is used for allocating planned costs or actual costs that have been posted to a cost center. The costs are allocated from cost centers to receivers, such as other cost centers, orders, projects, etc.
This process chain demonstrates the distribution of planned costs. It shows how to define a distribution cycle and how the costs are then allocated. The distribution of actual costs is performed in the same manner, except that a different distribution cycle is used.
