Predefined User Profiles in Customizing

The functions of the user profile are based on the definition and assignment of suitable activity groups to user master records in the SAP System. The settings are defined by the system administrator in profiles and assigned to activity groups. The link between the user and the activity group forms the link to the profile.

Procedure

In Customizing for the Classification System, choose Classes then Maintain User Profile. For more information on how to proceed, see the documentation of the Customizing transaction.

The following authorization object is for defining profiles: C_CLA_PROF.

Changing Profiles When Finding and Classifying Objects

You can change the user profiles created in Customizing when finding and classifying objects, by choosing Extras ® User settings.

However, you can only create profiles in Customizing.

To change the user settings for the activity groups, choose Change profile, then Save.
