Simulating a Capacity Change in a Work Center Hierarchy  

This procedure places a new capacity load on the work center hierarchy to see the increased load on both the hierarchy and an individual work center in the hierarchy. You viewed the capacity of the work center hierarchy in the previous procedure. This procedure simulates new capacity requirements on the work center hierarchy.

  1. On the SAP R/3 screen select Logistics ® Production ® Master planning ® Demand management.
  2. On the Demand Management screen, select Planned independent requirements ® Change.
  3. On the Change Planned Independent Requirements: Initial Screen , enter the following data:

  4. Select Enter.
  5. On the Plnd ind. reqmts Change: Item screen select Sched. Lines.
  6. Enter the following data:

  7. Select Enter.

    8. The system displays the total value.

  8. Select Save.

    9. The system might display a dialog box asking if you want to accept the total quantity.

  9. Confirm this message and return to the main SAP R/3 screen.
