Investment Management

This IMG section contains all the activities required to implement the Investment Management component. It consists of four main parts:

• Capital investment programs

There is a complete separate IMG section for capital investment programs. You can use it to make all the settings in the system that are required for this area.

• Appropriation requests

The Appropriation Requests component has a whole IMG section of its own, which covers all the Customizing settings for appropriation requests.

• Capital investment orders

You will need to complete these activities if you already use the CO-OM-OPA system (Internal Orders) and you now want to manage capital investment orders in addition to 'normal' internal orders (Delta Customizing).

You can find the IMG section for CO-OM-OPA under Controlling -> Overhead cost control . You should use this if you do not yet handle internal orders.

• Investment projects

You will need to complete these activities if you already use the Project System (PS) and now want to manage investment projects in addition to 'normal' CO projects (Delta Customizing).

Use the IMG for the PS system if you do not yet managed projects.
