Display the foreign currency revaluation rules 

The revaluation uses exchange rate type M for the European method and exchange rate type B and M for both US methods.

How did we get the two US methods to react differently during revaluation? Each vendor is linked to a different reconciliation account. That reconciliation account points to rules on how to react during revaluation.

1. Select SAP R/3 System screen Tools ® Business Engineer ® Customizing.

2. On the Customizing screen, select Implement. projects ® SAP Reference IMG.

3. On the Display structure: SAP Reference IMG screen select the path as follows Financial Accounting ® General Ledger Accounting ® Accounting Transactions ® Closing ® Valuateing ® Foreign Currency Valuation.

4. Select Execute next to the Define Valuation Methods.

5. On the Change View "Foreign Currency Valuation Methods": Overview screen, double-click on Demo if you are using the Europian Example. If you are using the North-American Example, make a double-click on VAL1.

6. On the Change View "Foreign Currency Valuation Methods": Details screen, check the settings for the foreign currency valuation procedure.

You can select Next entry or Previous entry to browse through the different currency revaluation methods.

7. Return to the main SAP R/3 screen.
