In this step, you define the default values for storage location MRP (multi-plant).
The indicator that you set here is proposed when creating a material master record for the storage locations maintained.
If you have created a material for a storage location in the material master, for which you have maintained a proposal value in Customizing, then the indicator defined by you is automatically adopted in the storage location MRP field. You have the following options for storage location MRP:
You should only maintain the indicator, which is then adopted in the material master, if you either plan almost every material separately or do not plan them at all.
Maintain the indicator for storage location MRP for the necessary storage locations.
