Manually Processing Components to be Provided 

If the planned order or the purchase requisition of the finished product is changed manually, these changes are automatically transferred to the components to be provided. This means that the dependent requirements of the components to be provided are adjusted.

You can also manually change or delete the dependent requirements of the components to be provided (see also "Processing Material Components".

Further Processing Options in Inventory Management

In Inventory Management, the transfer posting of unrestricted-use stock must be posted to the stock of material provided to the vendor (stock with subcontractor) for the material components. This posting is made with no purchase order.

The subcontractor dependent requirements for the components are not changed by this transfer posting.
In the planning run, the system assumes that the stock of material provided to the vendor is available for planning purposes.

During a partial goods receipt, the subcontractor dependent requirements are reduced proportionally.
