Maintaining the Employee Group/Subgroup for a Budget Structure Element 

Use

If you assign an employee group/subgroup to a budget structure element, then the system proposes the country grouping, pay scale type, pay scale area, group pay scale provisions and the name of the pay scale group for lower-level FTE budget structure elements when funds are being allocated.

Prerequisites

You must have worked through the Customizing step Personnel management ® Personnel administration ® Payroll Data ® Basic Pay ® Determine default for pay scale data.

The overall budget must have the budget status Proposed.

Procedure

  1. Access the overall budget using the Overall budget view.
  2. The Change Overall Budget screen appears.

  3. Select the top budget object, and choose View ® Expand.
  4. Select the budget structure element that you want to maintain.
  5. Choose Extras ® Employee group/subgroup.
  6. Select an employee group and employee subgroup.
  7. Choose Save and close.
