Authorizations in SAPphone
Use
Authorizations are required to execute SAPphone functions.

authorization concept in the R/3 System can be found in the documentation entitled BC - Users and Authorizations.
Features
There are two authorization objects to which various values can be assigned:
The administrator can create different user profiles by assigning certain values to the objects. The following profiles are available:

All work center settings and users settings |

Your own work center settings and user settings |
No SAPphone-specific authorizations are required to execute telephony functions. In this case, users cannot maintain their own settings.
Activities
To create the user profiles, assign the following values to the authorization objects:
