SAP delivers a number of standard planning layouts with the system. These layouts generally cover a large portion of customers' planning requirements and can be used as examples. If these layouts are not sufficient, you can define your own.
A planning layout determines the structure and content of the header, rows and columns of your planning screens to meet your business requirements.
