Assigning a Full-Time Equivalent Budget (Bottom-Up Method) 

  1. Enter a pay scale type, pay scale area, pay scale provisions and pay scale group.
  2. The procedure Maintaining Employee Groups/Subgroups shows you how to display default values at this point.

  3. If the pay scale group that you want to enter is a special pay scale group, select Special pay scale group.
  4. Choose Continue.
  5. The system displays the names of the pay scale group entered, the pay scale area, amount, time reference and career group.

  6. Enter the number of full-time equivalents for the budget.
  7. If necessary, enter administrative information.
  8. Choose Save and close.
  9. Proceed further with step 6 of the procedure Assigning a Budget (Bottom-Up Method).
