Import external variants

Import external variants

You can import an existing external variant into the R/3 system where it can be run by all users. You can also transport external variants to other R/3 systems.

To run imported variants:

1. Create an external variant.

2. Go to the test case maintenance transaction.

3. Choose Goto ® External variant ® Import.

4. Enter the directory and the file name of the external variant in the Read from local file dialog box.

5. Choose Copy to import the file.

6. Save the changes.
