Define Price Dependencies (Condition Tables)

In this activity you define the price dependencies for transfer prices. You can make any price, markup or deduction dependent on what values are contained in certain fields. You define these dependencies using so-called "condition tables". The condition table consists of combinations of fields, for which you can create condition records.

Example

In your costing sheet, you want to use a condition type KA01 that sets a transfer price depending on the combination of plant and profit center. To do this, you need to choose the fields "Plant" and "Profit center" from the field catalog. If you also want to make the transfer price dependent on which material is sold, create a condition table that contains the fields "Plant", "Profit center" and "Material".

Activities

    1. Before you create a new condition table, check whether the fields in the field catalog meet your requirements. If you want to use a field that is not contained in the standard field catalog, you can only add fields that are contained in tables KOMG, KOMK or KOMP. However, you can also expand any fields you require in these tables. You can find a detailed description of this procedure in SD Customizing under New Fields for Pricing
    1. Create new condition tables. To do so, proceed as follows:
    2. Enter the condition table in the relevant access sequences (see section "Condition types").
