Using ABAP Help

In addition to the standard SAP help facilities, the Editor provides additional help for the ABAP programming language. This additional help provides information for ABAP syntax and semantics as well as for ABAP keywords. To display this facility from within a program, choose ABAP Help or Utilities ® Help on. You can get help for the following areas and statements:

Editor help

ABAP overview

ABAP terms (key words and other terms)

New features in ABAP

Function modules

Table structures

Logical databases

Authorization objects

Infotypes

Select the object you need help for and enter an object name. To display ABAP language documentation, choose Utilities ® ABAP keyword doc. from the ABAP Editor: Initial screen.
