The system keeps a list of markers during your session. These markers provide a history of your navigation steps within the Repository Browser. You can use this list to return to a previous screen in your session. You can also use it to create a permanent marker that lasts beyond your current session.
To display the markers for your session, choose Goto
® Markers. If you double-click a marker, the system takes you to that location. There are three types of marker:Initial marker |
Defines the screen displayed when you choose Repository Browser from the ABAP Workbench initial screen. You can set the initial marker to any screen. The default initial marker is the Repository Browser initial screen. |
Permanent markers |
Identify markers that are retained between sessions. You can set up to 9 permanent markers. |
Temporary markers |
Identify markers from the current session. The system generates temporary markers automatically. You cannot create them yourself. |
Markers are organized by development class, program, and function group.
