The ABAP Workbench Tools documentation is intended for readers who are already familiar with the R/3 System. It assumes that you have already read and understood the ABAP Workbench Tutorial.

Before you can use this documentation, you must be able to log onto the R/3 system. If you are reading this documentation online, you will already have logged on. Otherwise, you should ask your system for your user name and password, and the client in which you should log on. For more information about logging onto the R/3 System, refer to the Getting Started documentation.

You should have Release 3.0 of the R/3 system or higher. If you are unsure about what version you are using, ask your system administrator.
