Displaying the Material Master Record 

The material master record can be displayed from various system components. For example, in the Inventory Management component, you can display the same views of the material master as is possible with Warehouse Management (WM).

To display information about a specific material assigned to your warehouse in the Warehouse Management view

  1. Choose Master data   ® Material  ®   Display   ® Material master from the WM menu bar.
  2. Enter a material number and choose Goto ® Select view(s).
  3. Choose the Warehouse Management view.

    4. To enter the plant, warehouse number and storage type data, choose Org. levels.

  4. As a minimum, you must enter a warehouse number. You can also enter the plant and storage type. To display fixed bin or replenishment information about a material, you must enter a storage type.

Choose Data.

Displaying the Material Master Records for Materials in a Specific Storage Area

You can also view the material master records for all or selected materials that are stored within a specified storage type or (range of storage types).

  1. Choose Master data ® Material ® Display ® Mat.master/stor.type from the WM menu bar.
  2. Enter the desired limiting criteria on the initial screen and choose Program ® Execute.

    3. For example, if you want to see a list of the material master records for all materials that are stored in a specific storage type, enter only the warehouse number and the storage type number on this screen.

  3. To display the material master record, position the cursor on a material line and choose Edit ® Display material.
