Displaying empty storage bins in a storage type

  1. Choose Master data   ® Storage bin  ®   Display  ®   Empty storage bins
  2. To display the empty storage bins, enter the selection criteria and choose ENTER .
  3. To display an individual storage bin record, position the cursor on a storage bin in the list and choose   Storage bin.

Displaying empty storage bins in a range of storage types

You typically run this report if you anticipate that the system will be unavailable for several hours and you still want to place materials into stock.

To display the empty storage bins for an entire warehouse or a range of storage types within a warehouse

  1. Choose Master data  ® Storage bin ® Evaluations ®   Empty storage bins from the WM menu bar.
  2. To display a list of empty bins, enter the selection criteria and choose ENTER .

    3. For each empty bin the report lists the last inventory date and the blocking indicators, if any.

  3. To print the list of empty bins, choose Print.

Space is provided on the report for you to enter material information, such as the material number.
