Control Panel Display

Definition

You can display the information in a number of different ways:

Standard view: Displays alert and server status information

Alert overview: Displays alerts only

Server status: Displays server status information only

Performance: Displays the number of logged-on users, wait time, response time

Buffer quality: Displays the SAP buffer quality as a percentage

The values displayed were collected over the previous 90 minutes. These values may differ from those displayed by the Buffers Monitor whose statistics are longer term.

Buffer directory: Displays the number of directory entries for each buffer

Buffer memory space: Displays the memory utilization statistics for each buffer

Dispatcher queues: Displays the memory utilization statistics for the instance.

Ideally, the amount of the dispatcher queue filled should be 0%. A value of more than 1% indicates that the system is having difficulties keeping up with the current workload.

System logs: Displays the alert messages in the system log

Memory management (absolute and relative values): Displays memory utilization in the current operation mode
