Payroll Account
Purpose
The R/3 System enables you to create payroll accounts for your employees. The payroll account contains selected payroll data for each employee displayed in a table.
Implementation Considerations
You use the Implementation Guide (IMG) to create the payroll account form in accordance with the statutory regulations.
Integration
When displaying the payroll account, you can also display the accompanying remuneration statements.
Scope of Functions
The payroll account displays a view of selected payroll results. These are payroll results that have been created for payroll periods within a particular time interval. You can set parameters when the payroll account is created:
- You can define the evaluation period when the form is created. This evaluation period can cover more than one year.
This allows you to print the payroll results for several payroll periods on the same form. You use the time interval to determine how the payroll periods are displayed (for example, Current month, Current year, Other period).
- You can specify the number of payroll periods to be printed on each page of the form.
To do this, use the Number of columns per page function.
- You can specify whether retroactive accounting differences from the payroll data are included when the payroll account is created.
To do this, flag the Display last result only ? function.
- You can specify an alternative currency to print the payroll results for the selected interval.
- In the Implementation Guide, you can specify that the wage type total for each wage type is printed for the selected period, or that the average value of the wage type is printed in a separate column on the form.
- The R/3 System contains standard values for the remuneration statement. This allows you to access the remuneration statement.
Restrictions
Display last result only?
functionFunction is not active:
- In the payroll account, you see a for-period view. The system displays the first payroll result created for the payroll period and also the retroactive accounting differences from the following period.
- You can access the remuneration statement from the payroll account.
- The remuneration statement shows an in-period view. The system displays the last payroll results created in the payroll period and also, if applicable, the retroactive accounting differences for the previous payroll results. The remuneration statement shows the payroll results from the in-period view for the for-periods selected in the payroll account.
Function is active:
If the function is active, this constraint does not apply. The system only displays the first payroll result created for the payroll period and for which the for-period and in-period are the same.
