The restore/recovery functionality of SAPDBA uses the SAP utility
BRRESTORE to restore files. It is thus possible to restore backups in
parallel and therefore to considerably shorten the time needed for recovering the database, for example.
SAPDBA allows the creation of new tablespaces according to the naming conventions for SAP tablespaces.
You can transfer a table to another tablespace using SAPDBA. Both of these functions should provide support particularly when you
separate tables.
