Statutory Minimum Wage 

Definition

The statutory minimum wage is the minimum amount that a worker must be paid for an ordinary working day.

For people working on a commission basis, the statutory minimum wage is the minimum amount that the worker must receive as a total wage.

Usage

The statutory minimum wage amount is stored in the Payroll constants table T511P and used in a range of payroll processes to perform different calculations in accordance with legal requirements.

For example, in accordance with current legislation, the maximum calculation base for the employee Social Insurance contribution is five times the statutory minimum wage.
