Defining a Financial Statement Version

The financial statement version is presented and maintained in a tree-like structure.

Within the tree-like structure, you can perform the following functions.

You can expand a node, i.e. display sub-nodes, by double-clicking on the plus sign in front of the node. Similarly, you can collapse the display again, that is, you can make the sub-nodes invisible by double-clicking on the minus sign in front of the node.

You can expand all sub-nodes in a node by placing the cursor on the node and clicking on the function Expand sub-tree.

The more nodes you expand in the tree, the longer the system requires to create a list. We recommend that you set a section or collapse the node before expanding another one.

Place your cursor on the node which is to be at the top of the section and then select Edit ® Set section.

To display the dialog box that contains the texts for an item, double-click on the item line (but not on the plus or minus sign).

To display the dialog box for entering account intervals, double-click on an account interval.

To select a node, place the cursor on the node you want to select and choose the pushbutton Select +/-. You can select a block of nodes by selecting the first node and then placing the cursor on the last node in the block and choosing from the menu Edit ® Select block.
