Locking/Unlocking Time Data For Several Employees Using Fast Entry
Use
When processing time recording data using fast entry, you can also lock or unlock an infotype record for several employees. Infotype records are locked, for example, if they are not to be used in Payroll Accounting for a certain payroll period. You can not create or change infotype records for any employees while using this function.
Procedure
The Fast Entry of Time Data screen appears.
A blank list appears in which you can enter personnel numbers.
For more information about matchcode searches, see the R/3 Library for Personnel Administration and Payroll Accounting.
A list of employee names and personnel appears together with their infotype records for the selected period.
Result
The infotype records for the selected employees are now locked or unlocked accordingly.

You can process the personnel numbers of up to twenty employees at the same time. If you select more than twenty employees, the system assigns their corresponding personnel numbers to groups of twenty employees each. Any groups that are not currently displayed on the screen can be accessed by choosing Other personnel nos. All of the personnel numbers on subsequent screens are automatically updated each time you save records for the personnel numbers on the current screen.
