Use of referred test cases

Use

A type 'L' test case refers to an existing test case. Use this type to let logically different test cases refer to the same higher-level test case. Any functions which were defined in the type 'L' test case function editor run like normal CATT functions.

Procedure

1. Create a new test case.

2. Assign type L to the test case in the attribute maintenance Management data tab.

3. Assign the referred test case to the test case, in the attribute maintenance General data tab.

4. Maintain any test case CATT functions.

5. Save the test case.

6. Manage the test case in the Test Workbench.
