Object Services

Definition

The object services allow SAPoffice functions to be executed in a cross-application way. This means that at any time, you can create information about an object, display the information, or send the information to another user.

Use

When using object services, you can call communication and administration functions in all applications which support these functions. The following functions are available:

Sending an object with a note
Displaying objects which have been sent
Creating notes, attachments and external documents which are linked with an object
Displaying information which is linked with an object (notes, attachments and external documents)

Integration

You will find the object services functions under the System menu option. Apart from SAPoffice functions, object services from SAP Business Workflow and SAP ArchiveLink are also available.
