Activating LDAP in SAPoffice

Prerequisites

You require administrator authorization in SAPoffice.

Procedure

  1. Select Tools ® Business Communication, Office ® Shared office settings
  2. In the Addressing frame, select the LDAP service as a connected component.
  3. If you want to maintain the default settings and the search options for the LDAP service, select Goto ® LDAP settings

You should enter the default settings because SAPoffice users can only access the LDAP addresses via the SAPoffice LDAP browser if the address is specified in the LDAP service. The users can overwrite the default settings to access another LDAP service.
