Maintaining Communication Methods for External Companies and External Contact Persons 

Purpose

Communication methods can be maintained for external companies and for external contact persons. A standard address is specified for each communication method and is transferred in the send operation.

Prerequisites

In order to create company-specific or person-specific communication methods, you must display the company maintenance or contact person maintenance screens.

You require authorization for the following transactions:

Process Flow

  1. In external company maintenance, you specify the communication methods and one address as the standard address for each communication method.
  2. In external contact person maintenance, you can enter additional addresses for the created communication methods. You also specify one address as the standard address.

Result

It is possible to send directly to an external contact person from the send screen.
