Maintaining an Internal Private Address 

Private addresses are addresses which are assigned to users. Like the company addresses, these contain address numbers which are used to access the address of a user.

Prerequisites

The following are prerequisites for maintaining a private address:

Procedure

  1. Select Administration ® Private office settings
    This displays your private office settings.
  2. Select User ® Other user and enter the name of the user whose private address you want to maintain in the dialog screen.
    The private office settings of the specified user are displayed.
  3. Select Goto ® Address management
    The address maintenance screen is displayed.
  4. Make the appropriate entries.
  5. The system displays information about the person and the company address belonging to the internal private address. If you want to see the complete company address, choose Company address.

    The company address cannot be maintained here. A new or alternative company address must be assigned in user maintenance.

  6. Confirm your entries with Copy.

 

Users do not need administrator authorization to maintain their own addresses.

When maintaining the address of an office user, this address is transferred to the SAP user when saved.
