Maintaining the Shared Trash Folder
As the administrator, you can retrieve documents, folders, and distribution lists from the shared trash folder and place them in the folder from which they were deleted. You can also move the objects into another folder in shared folders or delete them from shared trash.
Procedure
To retrieve or move documents, folders or distribution lists from the shared trash folder, proceed as follows:
- The document can be returned to the folder from which it was deleted.
To do so, choose Retrieve.
- The document can be moved to any folder in shared folders.
To do so, choose Move and specify the required folder.
To delete the contents of the shared trash folder, proceed as follows:
1. From the office administration initial screen, select Folders ® Shared trash ® Delete
2. Enter the number of days after the last change.
This defines how many days the system waits from the date the object was last changed before deletion from the shared trash takes place. All documents, folders, and distribution lists are deleted.
3. Choose Execute.

You can also delete the shared trash using report RSSOTRCL. You should schedule the report to run as a job for performance reasons. The contents of the shared trash folder are subsequently deleted at regular intervals.
